The TONGLI DXJ-T500 Toroidal Transformer Coil Winding Machine is a dedicated toroid winder for ring-core transformers, current transformers, and high-frequency inductors. Instead of rotating the coil, a motorised shuttle ring passes the wire through the centre of the core, progressively distributing turns around the whole ring, which is the only practical way to wind a closed toroidal core with an even, tight layer.

A digital counter and PLC control the number of turns and the wire spacing, and a programmable setting lets the operator distribute the winding evenly around the full 360 degrees of the core.
